2020 THEME: NB BLOOM
JULY 10 – 18, 2020
A VIRTUAL CELEBRATION 51 YEARS IN THE MAKING
Sometimes growth happens in the most unlikely of places. Nature has taught us that we can thrive in the most nurturing to the most trying of environments. Every petal, every leaf, every thorn of your identity is important; every part of you matters. Allow yourself to embrace your colours. Look to those who have weathered storms and have created beauty in barren landscapes. We all have room to grow; together, we can bloom.
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. TOGETHER IN PRIDE.

‘’We all really wanted to have Pride Week even if it isn’t going to be in the format we are used to. Doing it virtually means that we will not charge any covers to attend, and it is our hope that participation levels exceed last year’s numbers’’ – Dylan Mahaney, President of River of Pride.
‘’Fierté Fredericton Pride believes collaboration is an essential element of community-building. We are excited that the move to a virtual festival provides valuable opportunities to highlight the resilience and diversity of our communities and connect individuals across our beautiful province. We look forward to the conversations that will grow from Pride NB, instigating a move toward greater accessibility and inclusion in future years.”- Amelia Thorpe & Linsay Nickum, Co-chairs, Fierté Fredericton Pride.
“Saint John Pride is excited for the opportunity to partner with other Pride organizations in the province to help New Brunswick come together during the Covid-19 pandemic. I am also looking forward to sharing our best practices among our organizations to make future Pride festivals even better.” – Michael Cummings, President of Saint John Pride
PRIDE NB 2020
Pride: The quality or state of being proud.
The 2SLGBTQIA+ Pride movement is about visibility, equal rights and empowerment. It is also about creating safer spaces and inclusive communities where individuals are free to participate as they are. Thanks to the following sponsors and partners, Pride NB comes to life and allows our entire province to celebrate our queer communities.
Pride organizations positively impact their communities and the world every day through the work they do and the education initiatives they provide. From advocacy to the impact of Pride Week, communities gain a lot from their 2SLGBTQIA+ groups. 2020 promises to unite 2SLGBTQIA+ communities across New Brunswick and remind everyone that they can bloom right here, at home. Will you join us?
